Kinnerasani Sanctuary lies in the Khammam district near Paloncha. It is spread over an area of 655.41 sq km. The sanctuary represents dry deciduous mixed type forests with teak, bamboo and terminalis and the picturesque Kinnerasani reservoir.

The wild life found here is cheetal, black bucks, chinkaras, chousinghas, sambars, wild boars, gaurs, wild dog, hyena, jackals, sloth bears, panthers, tigers, nest and graze in Kinnerasani lake and a number of water pools in the interior forest areas. Muggers are also found in the reservoir.Kinnerasani Sanctuary is covered with dry deciduous mixed type forests with teak, bamboo and terminals and offers a great Indian bird watching tour, home to the Peafowl, Jungle Fowl, Qualis, Partridges, Doves, Ducks, Teals, Spoonbills, Nuktas, Open bill stork.
